Xerox is extending its 15-year partnership with Indian IT major HCLTech. The extension comes with a renewed focus on AI-driven engineering services and digital process operations.
The Indian IT services company will play a crucial role in Xerox’s reinvention efforts and work to foster long-term profitable growth through innovative technological solutions. As part of this extended partnership, HCLTech will leverage its advanced full-stack GenAI platform, HCLTech AI Force, to create a unified interface that enhances how Xerox employees and clients interact.
The company will also provide automation, product and sustenance engineering, and process operations services to support the newly formed Xerox Global Business Services (GBS) organisation. This support will be important in driving key business metrics, such as working capital management, device connectivity, sales efficiency and the effectiveness of remote problem-solving.
“We are dedicated to supporting Xerox in navigating the workplace evolution, enabling a more AI-driven, engineering services-led and software-enabled organisation,” said Raghu Kidambi, corporate vice president and global head of digital process operations at HCLTech.
Louie Pastor, executive vice president, chief transformation and administrative officer at Xerox, said, “As we continue our reinvention, our aim is to drive enterprise-wide efficiency by centralising processes, platforms, and capabilities. By extending our agreement with HCLTech and leveraging its expertise, Xerox will become more agile while continuously improving employee and client experiences.”
