HDFC Bank has notified scheduled maintenance work that will temporarily disable its UPI services on November 5 and November 23. The downtime is expected to last two hours on November 5, from 12 am to 2 am and three hours on November 23, from 12 am to 3 am. During these periods, all financial and non-financial UPI transactions across the bank’s platforms will be unavailable.
This includes transactions through HDFC Bank’s MobileBanking app, RuPay Credit Card, and third-party apps like GPay, WhatsApp Pay, Paytm, Shriram Finance, Mobikwik, and Kredit Pe, affecting both HDFC account holders and merchants acquired by HDFC Bank.
"It is important to note that all UPI transactions will be unavailable for merchants acquired by HDFC Bank," the lender said in its alert to users.
The bank issued a notification expressing its commitment to enhancing service efficiency through these maintenance updates and requested users' understanding during the scheduled downtime. Customers needing additional information are encouraged to contact HDFC Bank’s customer support.
