LTIMindtree, in partnership with American tech giant IBM, is establishing a joint Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in India, positioned at propelling the adoption and integration of generative AI technologies among global clients.
This strategic collaboration will leverage LTIMindtree's expertise in data and machine learning alongside IBM's advanced watsonx technology suite, which includes tools like watsonx.ai, watsonx.data and watsonx.governance.
The CoE is designed to focus on the creation of specialised solutions that accelerate the deployment of generative AI applications, addressing the growing demand for technologies that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency in businesses. Through this initiative, clients are expected to gain significant advantages in modernising their data management systems and application infrastructures.
One of the key offerings of the CoE includes the integration of IBM watsonx.governance with LTIMindtree's Canvas.ai platform. This integration will look to provide an enterprise-ready toolkit that facilitates the incorporation of AI governance frameworks across the AI lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the CoE will provide services powered by IBM watsonx.data to enhance data warehouse capabilities, which is expected to help organisations better manage and utilise their data for business intelligence and analytics. IBM watsonx.ai will also play a crucial role, offering services that modernise full-stack applications and streamline the deployment of AI models, particularly in legacy systems such as mainframes.
“Our collaboration, distinguished by the Center of Excellence, is an opportunity for our companies to work closely together to help funnel the latest AI research and innovations into technologies solving real-world business challenges,” Kate Woolley, General Manager at IBM Ecosystem, said in a statement.
