A new report reveals that Indian brands are leading the way in adopting generative AI, pointing to transformations in their organisational structures and capabilities.
Findings from the Adobe report also indicate that businesses across the Asia Pacific and Japan regions are preparing for substantial adjustments to enhance their generative AI initiatives.
The report mentioned that 52 per cent of Indian brands leverage data and algorithms to deliver personalised website experiences, the highest percentage in the region. Additionally, 38 per cent utilise generative AI to create customised emails and content. While executives express confidence in their generative AI strategies, practitioners show concern, with 45 per cent of Indian organisations having implemented generative AI solutions and 27 per cent conducting pilot projects.
As a trusted partner, Adobe is working closely with brands to transition generative AI initiatives from experimentation to enterprise-level deployment. The report notes that 73 per cent of brands are developing guidelines for responsible AI use, and 71 per cent are aligning their AI strategies with broader business goals.
Indian brands anticipate big changes in their operational models, with 80 per cent planning to use generative AI for content creation and 76 per cent for auto-updating live content.
Executives are also focussing on upskilling employees, prioritising advanced AI training, and establishing ethical usage policies to support the transition. The report stressed upon India's crucial role in shaping the future of AI and its influence on industry standards and governance practices.
