Capgemini on Tuesday announced expansion in Chennai with the development of a new facility, backed by an investment of approximately Rs 1000 crore over the next three years.
The new 5000-seat facility is slated for completion in April 2027, will span nearly 6,00,000 square feet and is designed with sustainability at its core. The company said it will integrate advanced energy and water-efficient technologies, utilise recycled materials, and implement rainwater harvesting during construction. The campus will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources.
The company has earmarked around Rs 3 crore of the investment for the development of neighboring government schools.

The new facility will support Capgemini’s diverse specialist teams, including those in financial services, engineering, digital, cloud, AI and more. The facility will have advanced engineering labs, dedicated customer experience centers and specialised onboarding rooms
