On the evolution of the company
HashedIn was founded in 2010 with a mission to help businesses with product development. Across more than eight years, we have built, transformed and launched more than 120 products for more than 150 customers globally. HashedIn as a company has grown by 200 per cent last year.
We have grown from four founders to more than 375 hashers in six years organically, without any funding and investment. In these years, we have been making conscious efforts to reach a 50:50 gender ratio and to continue practices which we have been following from our inception.
From the time our first employee walked into the office to the current day, we continue to practice three things All Hands Meeting, Open House and an yearly company outing.
On people philosophy
At HashedIn, we believe in taking ownership and accountability for building great products. All employees act as owners and use their judgment to make the right calls for themselves, their team, the company and society as a whole. And to enable them to do that, we promote transparency across the organisation. The practices - All Hands Meeting and Open House is the platform where the employees ask questions, share feedback and raise concerns. We also have a concept of Spot Award, where anyone can nominate an individual for excellence and outstanding contributors are rewarded.
