In a move to advance global agriculture, Garuda Aerospace has entered a strategic partnership with CYOL, a Sri Lankan provider of agricultural technology solutions.
This collaboration formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed at CYOL’s Colombo office, is set to redefine agriculture across Australia, Africa and Asia by integrating advanced drone technology with cutting-edge agricultural software.
The MOU was signed by CYOL Chairman Chamitha Ranneththi, along with Sanjeewa Dissanayake, Director S Mahendran and Vincent Renold, Directors of Garuda Aerospace Ceylon. The partnership aligns both companies’ goals to expand their agricultural operations and leverage Garuda Aerospace’s newly launched presence in Sri Lanka, solidifying its commitment to the South Asian market.
A Vision for Precision Agriculture
Garuda Aerospace, a drone solution company in sectors like agriculture, surveillance, mapping and defence, aims to combine its aerial technology with CYOL’s powerful agricultural software to offer comprehensive solutions for precision farming. The partnership promises real-time insights, optimised resource management, and enhanced crop monitoring, all key components for modernising farming practices, according to the company’s statement.
