Every year, TVS Credit presents the E.P.I.C (Enrich - Perform - Innovate - Challenge) campus challenge, an initiative that not only tests students' problem-solving skills but also paves the way for their prosperous professional futures. Launched in 2019, the competition provides a unique platform for participants to showcase their skills through challenges across IT, Strategy, Finance and Analytics.
E.P.I.C Campus Challenge was conceptualised as a program to identify the crème de la crème from the budding young talent pool across colleges in India. The program is designed to enable participants to engage in both individual and team-based challenges, testing their abilities and skills.
The 6th season of the competition, held in October 2024, reached an impressive milestone, with 1,15,000+ registrations from 7,900+ colleges, including eminent institutions such as IIM Lucknow, IIM Mumbai, XLRI Jamshedpur, JBIMS Mumbai, IIFT Delhi, SVKM’s NMIMS University Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur and XIM Bhubaneshwar.
The competition unfolded through multiple rounds, comprising a treasure hunt, MCQ tests, online hackathons, case study submissions, and a grand finale where shortlisted teams presented innovative solutions to a distinguished jury panel.
The finalists of challenges received mentorship from TVS Credit's senior leadership in masterclass sessions. The Grand Finale featured 57 teams presenting their innovative solutions and interacting with Mr. Ashish Sapra, CEO of TVS Credit. The top winners were rewarded with exciting prizes worth along with pre-placement interview opportunities at TVS Credit.
The E.P.I.C Campus Challenge has established itself as an event that fosters collaboration between industry and academia, narrowing the skills gap and enhancing students' job opportunities. It has emerged as a much-sought-after event across the educational fraternity in the country.
The campus challenge is a testament to TVS Credit's reputation as a preferred employer and a prime platform that provides a nurturing environment to fresh talent, where they can hone their skills and become seasoned professionals. The event is a primary avenue to identify exceptional students for summer internships and management trainee programs.
The Winners:
Displaying robust skills in the strategy challenge, Onkar Shete, Tanmay Amritkar and Jayesh Chahar from VGSoM, IIT Kharagpur, emerged as the winners.
The IT challenge segment saw Ratan Ravichandran and Sayli Bande from Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, emerge victorious.
Sahil Wadhawan from NSUT Delhi won the analytics challenge, while Akhil Malani and Prashant Kamath from ISB, Hyderabad, clinched the win in the finance challenge.
