The upcoming National Poker Series India 2025 is set to feature a prize pool in Indian poker history, with Rs 100 crore at stake. This milestone fifth edition of the event will be hosted on the PokerBaazi platform. The NPS has become a key event in India’s poker landscape, offering large-scale tournaments for competitive players across the nation.
Navkiran Singh, Founder and CEO of Baazi Games, said that the series highlights poker as a skill-based game requiring mental focus and strategy. He stated the event’s role in helping players develop their abilities while promoting the game nationwide. The 2025 edition is expected to surpass previous tournaments in scale and competition.
Previous Edition And Participation
The 2024 edition of the NPS saw over 2.25 lakh participants and awarded a prize pool of Rs 62.5 crore. A total of 450 medals were given to players, with Deepak Singh from Delhi winning three gold, one silver and one bronze medal. Other notable performers included Abhishek Sonu from Bihar and Samay Modi from Maharashtra. Maharashtra topped the medal tally in 2024 with more than 100 medals, followed by Delhi with 83.
Since its inception, the National Poker Series India has attracted more than 5.33 lakh entries and hosted 404 tournaments. Over 1,200 medals have been awarded across four editions, making it one of the largest poker events in India. The official schedule for the 2025 edition is expected to be declared soon.
