Mainak Dhar has been appointed Managing Director of McCain India, effective August 2024. Dhar is a seasoned leader with over 26 years of experience in brand building and leadership roles, announced his new position through a LinkedIn post.
His appointment comes after an illustrious career with global giants like Kimberly-Clark, Procter & Gamble, and General Mills, where he consistently challenged the status quo and created impactful ideas.
Before joining McCain India, Dhar founded “Mentoring by Mainak,” a platform dedicated to providing mentoring resources, including an innovative AI Mentor. Launched in January 2024, this platform has already reached over 1,000 individuals across 30 countries, offering guidance drawn from Dhar's extensive personal experiences, writings, and insights.
His passion for coaching and mentoring is further underlined by his certification as a Life Coach. In addition to his corporate achievements, Dhar is a bestselling author whose books have been translated into multiple languages and have sold nearly half a million copies.
