Lava International Ltd. has announced the debut of the Lava Blaze X, the latest edition to their Blaze line. This new smartphone, aimed at the budget category, has the series' first curved AMOLED display. The Blaze X, which comes in starlight purple and titanium grey, will be available for purchase on Lava's e-store and Amazon beginning July 20.

The Blaze X will have a 16.94 cm (6.67") 120 Hz Curved AMOLED display with a punch hole design, offering an immersive visual experience. The smartphone will also have a moonstone matte back with beautiful embellishment. The camera arrangement consists of a 64MP primary camera with a Sony sensor, a 2MP secondary camera on the back, and a 16MP front camera. The Blaze X has a variety of shooting modes, including Dual View Video, Film, Pro Video, Slow Motion, Timelapse, UHD, GIF, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, Macro, and AI Emoji, to meet a wide range of photographic demands.
The Blaze X, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU and with an AnTuTu score of over 420,000, promises improved performance. It comes in three RAM configurations: 4GB+4GB, 6GB+6GB and 8GB+8GB, with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage for seamless multitasking and plenty of storage capacity. The 5000mAh battery supports 33W rapid charging via a Type-C connection, providing long battery life and speedy recharging capabilities.
The Blaze X includes dual SIM compatibility, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C USB, and OTG. It has sensors such an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and ambient light sensor. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a premium rear design. The phone weighs 183 grammes and comes with a one-year handset warranty and a six-month accessory warranty. The Blaze X runs Android 14 and offers a bloatware-free, ad-free experience. Lava also pledges to frequent software upgrades, including an upgrade to Android 15 and two years of quarterly security patches.
Lava also states that it will offer free service at home to Blaze X consumers across India, in addition to assistance at Lava retail shops. The pricing for the Blaze X is competitive. The 4GB+4GB variant is priced at Rs 14,999, with a launch offer reducing it to Rs 13,999. The 6GB+6GB variant is available for Rs 15,999, with a launch offer price of Rs 14,999. The 8GB+8GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999, with a launch offer of Rs 15,999.
