Balaji Telefilms, one of India’s largest television and film production studios on Monday announced its partnership with Xstream, a leading provider of Over-The-Top (OTT solutions0, and Diagnal, Asia’s regional OTT specialist, to power its upcoming OTT entertainment service, ALT Balaji which is expected to be launched this summer.
The company says that Xstream’s cloud-based video management system, Xstream MediaMaker, will fuel ALT Balaji’s multiscreen solution ALT Balaji and Diagnal will be responsible for front-end design, development, big data solution and systems integration.
Announced in 2015, ALT Balaji is a part of the Balaji Group’s strategic intent to extend its creative expertise to the digital domain by developing on-demand, original and exclusive content for digital audiences globally. Through this platform, they will help cater to the changing entertainment consumption habits of today’s audiences.
