Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 6 Pro- the successor of brand’s bestselling smartphone in India. The Chinese brand is bringing major upgrades in the new Redmi Note 6 Pro over its predecessor including dual front cameras, larger display with a notch, improved cameras and faster charging. This handset is also Xiaomi’s first device in India to run on MIUI 10 out-of-the-box.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Price in India
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India starts from Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM variant and Rs 15,999 for 6GB RAM variants. The handset comes in four colours- Blue, Red, Rose Gold and Black. Xiaomi’s new phone’s first sale is on November 23 which Xiaomi is calling ‘Black Friday Sale’. During the sale, both variants of Redmi Note 6 Pro will be offered with a discount of Rs 1,000 which means the handset will be available at Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999, respectively.
The sale will commence from 12 pm onwards (23 November) on Flipkart and Mi.com, Xiaomi also says that Redmi Note 6 Pro will be soon available on Mi Homes.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro runs on MIUI 10 out-of-the-box which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Both variants have 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
The new Redmi smartphone features a 6.26-inch full HD+ (2280x1080) display with Corning Gorilla Glass. 19:9 aspect ratio, pixel density of 403 ppi. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a dual camera setup on the front with 20-MP primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture and 1.8-micron pixels) + 2-MP depth sensor (f/2.2 aperture and 1.75-micron pixels), Portrait mode and face recognition. The rear also has a dual camera setup with 12-MP primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels) + 5-MP (f/2.2aperture and 1.12-micron pixels), Dual Pixel autofocus, dual tone LED flash, HDR, Portrait mode, and EIS for video stabilisation.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone-jack, Location and Micro USB port. The new Redmi smartphone measures 157.9 x 76.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 182 grams. The handset also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
