Xiaomi Poco F1 With Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Launched In India; Price Starts From Rs 20,999

Xiaomisub-brand Pocophone has launched their new smartphone Poco F1 in India. Poco F1 will go on sale from 29 August onwards via Flipkart and Mi.com. The handset comes in three RAM+Storage configurations of 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Poco F1 price in India starts from Rs 20,999 for 64GB storage variant, Rs 23,999 for 128GB and Rs 28,999 for 256GB variant.

HDFC Bank debit and credit card holders purchasing Poco F1 during first sale will get Rs 1,000 cashback. Reliance Jio is also 6TB 4G data and benefits up to Rs 8,000.The new handset is available in three colours- Graphite Black, Rosso Red, and Steel Blue.

Poco F1 Specifications

The new Poco F1 runs on customized MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 procesor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB/8GB of RAM. It has 64GB/128G/256GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card slot.

Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch full HD+ (2246x1080) notch display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 403 ppi. The notch houses the earpiece, infrared sensor for face unlock and a 20-MP selfie camera which comes with AI Portrait mode.

The new handset sports a vertically aligned dual camera module at rear which includes 12-MP primary lens (1.4 micron-pixel, dual pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture), 5-MP secondary lens (1.12 micron-pixel and f/2.0 aperture) with single-tine flash, AI Beautify, AI scene detection and Portrait mode.

The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0. For security, there is a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and infrared face unlock which the company claims can even work in the dark.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and Location.
