Samsung Galaxy On8 With Infinity Display, Dual Rear Cameras Launched In India; Will Be An Online Exclusive

To regain its top slot in the Indian smartphone market, Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched another affordable smartphone Samsung Galaxy On8 in India.

The new Galaxy On8 features a 6-inches super AMOLED Infinity display, Android 8.0 Oreo, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 16-megapixels selfie camera and 3,500mAh battery. 

Samsung Galaxy On8 is an online exclusive and will be available through Flipkart and Samsung Online store only.Samsung Galaxy On8 price in India is Rs 16,990 and it will be available for buyers from August 6 onwards. It will be available in two colour options- black and blue. 

Samsung Galaxy O8 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.

Talking about the display, the new Samsung mobile features a 6-inches HD+ super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. For taking selfies, there is a 16-megapixels selfie camera.

Galaxy On8 sports a dual camera setup at rear which includes primary 16-megapixel sensor (F/1.7 aperture) and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor (f/1.9) with Samsung’s Live Focus and LED flash. The rear camera also has Background Blur shape, Portrait dolly feature and Portrait Backdrop feature.

With Background Blur Shape, you can make the pictures talk by adding soft light effect in different contextual shapes. The Portrait Dolly feature delivers a moving GIF image with zoom movements in the background for a cinematic photography experience. The portrait backdrop mode gives a professional touch to photography by creating cool and funky backgrounds effects.

The polycarbonate body Galaxy On8 is backed by a 3,500mAh battery. The handset also comes pre-loaded with Samsung Mall and Chat Over Video.
