The new platform provides on-device generative AI capabilities, as well as advanced gaming and camera technologies, raising the bar for mid-range performance and usefulness.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform is a substantial boost over its predecessors, as it has support for large language models (LLMs) like Baichuan-7B and Llama 2 with 1 billion parameters, enabling for more powerful on-device AI applications.
The platform's improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU delivers richer, more immersive mobile gaming experiences. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 also has professional-grade camera and video capture capabilities, such as a 12-bit triple ISP and 4K sHDR, allowing users to take high-quality photographs and films with improved resolution and colour accuracy.
