Smartphone manufacturer, Qualcomm appointed Savi Soin as the President of Qualcomm India on Thursday, according to a media report.
Soin replaced Rajen Vagadia and would responsibly look into the company’s strategies in India collaborating with the Centre and industry partners. While Vagadia will take on a new role as Vice President at Qualcomm headquarters in San Diego.
The President’s focus will be on various sectors including mobile, automotive, semiconductor, industrial & IoT, and communication infrastructure.
Soin has served Qualcomm for more than two decades and has previously served as the head of strategy and business development at Qualcomm Technologies' semiconductor division.
Qualcomm, an American-based company creates semiconductors, software, and services related to wireless technology.
