Oppo has launched a new smartphone brand Realme in India, the sub-brand aims to offer affordable smartphones to the Indian consumers through online platforms.
The new company today (15 May) has launched their device Realme 1 which is an Amazon exclusive and will go on sale starting from 25 May, 12 pm onwards.
The handset is available in two RAM+Storage configurations of 3GB+32GB and 6GB+128GB. The storage in both variants is expandable up to 256GB using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. However a 4GB+64GB variant of Realme 1 will also be launched in the future, which is priced at Rs 10,990. The 32GB variant is priced at Rs 8,990 and 128GB at Rs 13,990.
One the purchase of Realme 1, SBI card holders will get an extra 5 percent cashback, Reliance Jio benefits up to Rs 4,850, free case and a screen protector.
Realme 1 Specifications
Realme 1 runs on ColorOS 5.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is powered by Helio P60 Octa-core processor with dual-core AI.
Realme 1 features a 6-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Talking about the optics, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and on the front is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The cameras are touted to have AI beautification and AR stickers.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,410mAh battery. The handset doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor but comes with facial recognition which the company claims can unlock the phone in 01. second.
Realme 1 measures 156.5 x 75.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 155 grams. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Location. The handset is available in two colours- solar red and diamond black.
