Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has launched their flagship all-screen device Oppo Find X in India. The handset comes with a unique design which features a pop-out motorized camera mechanism which includes both front and rear cameras.
The reason behind inclusion of motorized camera slider is to minimize the bezels, hence increasing the display size. The concept is quite similar to Vivo Nex which just has a pop-out selfie camera, whereas Oppo Find X takes it to a whole new level including a motorized slider which includes both cameras a bunch of other sensors.
Talking about the display, it features a massive 6.42-inches AMOLED display with 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Major highlights of Oppo Find X includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, rear dual cameras, 25-megapixels selfie camera, iPhone X like 3D face recognition feature and 3,730mAh battery.
Oppo Find X price in India is Rs 59,990, the handset will be available for pre-orders from July 25 and will go on sale from August 3 via Flipkart and offline channels. Buyers who pre-order the Oppo Find X on Flipkart will get a free gift voucher of worth Rs 3,000.
Oppo Find X is the Chinese company’s high-end flagship offering which will compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S9, Huawei P20 Pro and Google Pixel 2 among others.

Oppo Find X comes with a huge 6.42-inches full HD+ (2340x1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. Talking about the camera, the handset features a motorized slider which houses the both rear and front camera along with flood illuminator, infrared camera, ranging sensor, receiver, and dot projector.
Oppo Find X sports a dual camera setup at the rear which includes 16-megapixels+20-megapixels sensors. For clicking selfies, there is a 25-megapixels AI backed front camera.
The handset has no fingerprint sensor but comes with iPhone X like 3D Facial Recognition technology. Oppo claims that the handset uses 15,000 facial dot recognition and intelligent analysis which is also 20 times safer than fingerprint recognition.
Oppo Find X runs on ColorOS 5.1 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will support Android P Beta. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. The handset comes with 256GB of internal storage and there is no MicroSD card slot so the option of expanding the storage is not available.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,730mAh battery with VOOC fast charging which is touted to offer 2 hours of talk time within 5 minutes of charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and GPS. Oppo Find X measures 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.4mm and weighs 186 grams. The handset comes in two colour options Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.
