Oppo is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone by the name of Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro in Malaysia and India respectively. A 7 seconds video teaser was launched by the Oppo on its India’s Twitter handle today (30th July). According to the teaser, Oppo will be launching F9 pro soon in Indian market. A similar video was posted by the Oppo on their Malaysia’s official twitter handle for Oppo F9 on 29 July.

The new smartphones are the successor of Oppo F7 which was launched in March this year. According to the teaser, Oppo F9 pro next-generation notch display with water resistance feature. Furthermore, the caption “The breaking new vision,” shared by the company on twitter for Oppo F9 pro reflects their key focus on the edge to edge display.
Oppo F9 pro could be the rebranded version of Oppo R17 that is going to be launched in China soon as per the leaked images leaked on Weibo by Kumamoto Technology of an event in China. As per the leak, Oppo R17 might be the first smartphone to sport 10 GB RAM. It might also feature 4K OLED display with 92.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

Oppo F9 pro is likely to run on Android based software with CPH1823 as its model number.
Unlike Oppo F7 with 16 megapixels rear camera, Oppo F9 pro will come with horizontal dual rear camera set up with an AI-assisted image sensor at the rear for effects like enhanced Bokeh and more. According to the look of the phone, it will most probably sport single rear camera on the V pointed notch display. The handset will be packed with Super VOOC Flash Charging technology that offers 2 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes of charge along with full charging in just 15 minutes.
Currently, there are no official words for Oppo F9 launch in India.
