OnePlus 6 Silk White Limited Edition Goes On Sale: Price, Launch Offers, And Specifications

The Silk White Limited Edition of OnePlus 6 is now available for buyers in India, starting today (June 5). Launched in India last month, only the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants of OnePlus 6 went on first sale which began from May 21. 

Just like the other OnePlus 6 variants, this variant has glass body too but it isn’t much prone to smudges as the Mirror Black variant. This is because the silk white variant is coated with pearl powder to create subtle shimmering effect. Also, six different layers of glass have been carefully applied to the device to create a smooth, white texture.

As the rear body of this variant is white, the edges, fingerprint sensor, OnePlus logo and physical buttons (power, volume, and alert slider) have a rose gold shade.

OnePlus 6 Silk White Limited Edition price is Rs 39,999, it is only available with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Buyers can purchase the new handset through Amazon and OnePlus.in.

On purchasing the device using Citibank debit and credit cards, buyers can avail a cashback of Rs 2,000. Amazon Prime Video consumers can avail Rs 250 and discounts up to Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle e-books.

There is also No cost EMI for up to 3 months on all major banks, 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on downloading Kotak 811 app, Rs 2,000 cash back and Device Insurance for Idea subscribers and benefits up to Rs 25,000 on flight and hotel bookings from ClearTrip.

OnePlus 6 Silk White Limited Edition Specifications

As OnePlus has now adopted the notch design, OnePlus 6 features a larger 6.28-inches FHD+ (2280x1080) optic AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio.

OnePlus 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is no MicroSD card slot, so the option of expandable storage is not present.

It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo, users can also upgrade OnePlus 6 to Android P Beta too. The dual-SIM handset has a 3,300mAh battery which comes with OnePlus’ propriety Dash Charging.

Talking about the camera, the handset sports dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixels+20-megapixels sensors and dual LED flash. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with screen flash.

This phone doesn’t has an official IP rating but OnePlus claims that it survive rain or water spillage and they advise users not to go swimming with your phone.

Connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone-jack, USB Type-C (2.0), Location, and NFC. It measures 155.7 x 75.4 x 7.75mm and weighs 177 grams.
