OnePlus has announced the launch of new OnePlus 6 Midnight Black variant with 256GB storage in India. The new OnePlus 6 Midnight Black variant will go on sale from July 10 via Amazon, it will also be available for purchase through OnePlus’ website and offline channels. ‘Notify Me’ registration or OnePlus 6 Midnight Black (8GB+256GB) is live on Amazon, starting today.
Following the increase in storage, the new Midnight Black 256GB variant gets increase in price, it costs Rs 43,999- which is Rs 4,000 extra than the 128GB variant. Apart from the bump in storage, everything else remains the same with the new variant.
OnePlus 6 was launched with two Storage variants of 64GB and 128GB with Marvel Avengers Limited Edition being the one with 256GB storage. With all units of the limited edition variant being sold out, company has launched the Midnight Black 256GB variant which was ealier available with single 128GB storage option.
Now, there are a total of five OnePlus 6 variants- Mirror Black (64GB and 128GB), Midnight Black (128GB and 256GB) and Silk White (128GB).

OnePlus 6 Midnight Black Specifications
OnePlus 6 is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
OnePlus 6 features a larger 6.28-inches FHD+ (2280x1080) optic AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio, all thanks to iPhone X’s notch design. The phone’s body is made of glass but it doesn’t feel like one because it features a matte-black finish.
It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo, users can also upgrade OnePlus 6 to Android P Beta too. The dual-SIM handset has a 3,300mAh battery which comes with OnePlus’ propriety Dash Charging.
Talking about the camera, the handset sports dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixels+20-megapixels sensors and dual LED flash. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with screen flash.
This phone doesn’t has an official IP rating but OnePlus claims that it survive rain or water spillage and they advise users not to go swimming with your phone.
Connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone-jack, USB Type-C (2.0), Location, and NFC. It measures 155.7 x 75.4 x 7.75mm and weighs 177 grams.
