Ocean Park- Hong Kong’s Wonderland

Theme parks continue to attract Indian tourists and Honk Kong is among one of the favorite locations for such parks, which includes- Ocean Park and Disneyland. While most of us are well-aware of what Disneyland offers, what many of us Indians don’t know about is the Hong Kong’s unique home-grown Ocean Park which offers a matchless experience.

Located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, covering more than 90 hectares of land, Ocean Park is divided into two islands– the Waterfront and the Summit. To travel between the two islands, you can choose between cable car which offers astonishing view of the island and South China Sea or an underground train- Ocean Express which only takes four minutes to reach the destination.

Prior to my visit at Ocean Park, I was ambivalent about the place. I didn’t exactly know how the experience at Ocean Park would be but after the tour was completed, I wanted to visit again.

My perception of spending a vacation entirely changes, visiting there I realized how important it is for humans to conserve our environment.
