HMD Global has launched the new Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 15,999, the handset will be available through Flipkart and Nokia's online store with sale commencing from August 31 onwards. Nokia 6.1 Plus is the rebranded version of Nokia X6 which was earlier launched in China. The new handset comes in three colour options- Gloss Black, Gloss White, and Gloss Midnight Blue.
Nokia 6.1 Plus has been launched under the Google’s Android One program which will enable the users to have Android experience along with regular software updates.

Nokia 6.1 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset has 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory of 400 GB through dedicated microSD card slot.
Nokia 6.1 Plus sports vertically aligned dual rear camera with 16 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture + 5 megapixels with BW, f/2.4 aperture, with dual LED flash, AI feature, panorama and HDR.
On the front, the handset is equipped with 16 megapixels selfie snapper coupled with f/2.0 aperture. The company inbuilt the Bothie feature which will let the users utilise both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
For the security purpose, the smartphone has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear side and face unlock feature.
The new Nokia mobile features 5.8 inches (1080x2280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Nokia 6.1 Plus measures 147.2 x 71 x 8 mm and weighs 151 grams.
The Hybrid dual SIM smartphone is packed with 3,060mAh capacity battery with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. The connectivity options available for the smartphones are Wi-Fi 802, 11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and 4G VoLTE.
