The current custodian of Nokia phones, HMD made the official launch of Nokia 3.1 in the Indian Market. The main highlight of the handset is the Android One programme which will enable the users three years of monthly security patches and two years of major OS updates from launch.
Price and Availability
In Indian market Nokia 3.1 will be available in only one variant of 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage of Rs. 10,499 in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. The sale of Nokia 3.1 will commence from 21 July and will be available through major mobile retailers and via Paytm Mall and Nokia's online store.
There will be many launch offers available on Nokia 3.1. The customers will get 10 percent cashback on future recharges and bill payments via Paytm by scanning their Paytm Mall QR code on the retail stores. Along with cashback they will also get two cashback movie vouchers worth Rs.250. Idea and Vodafone users will get benefits of data bundles and unlimited calls via HMD Global. Consumers making payment via ICICI Bank credit or debit card will be eligible for 5% cashback.

Nokia 3.1 Specifications
Nokia 3.1 runs on Android One-based Android 8.1 (Oreo) and powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750N. The smartphone is available in two variants of RAM plus Storage- 2GB RAM+ 16GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage with expandable storage of 256 GB via dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, Nokia 3.1 has single rear camera with 13 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture, auto focus and LED flash for clear and sharp photographs in both day and night light. On the front, the handset is equipped with 8 megapixels selfie snapper coupled with f/2.0 aperture and with a wide 84.6-degree field of view is perfect for taking group selfie.
The smartphone 5.2-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and display is layered with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. Nokia 3.1 measures 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm and weighs 138.3 grams.
