MSI has introduced the upgraded Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and the limited-edition MSI Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport laptops recently.
The magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis of the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport edition displays the AMG pattern and is adorned with a Midnight Black motif. The device is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 4080 Laptop GPU with 12GB of GDDR6 memory and an Intel CoreTM Ultra 9 CPU 185H. The laptop includes an 18-inch UHD+ Mini LED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 3840x2400 pixels. The monitor spans the whole DCI-P3 colour gamut and is VESA DisplayHDRTM 1000 Certified.
The Stealth 18 can accommodate up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and has two NVMe M.2 SSD slots for storage. It has an audio system with two 2W speakers and four 2W woofers created by Dynaudio, together with a Per-Key RGB Gaming Keyboard by SteelSeries. There are ThunderboltTM 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and HDMITM 2.1 connectors available for connectivity. A 280W adaptor and a 4-cell, 99.9Whr Li-Polymer battery are also included with the laptop. It weighs 2.89 kg and is 399.9 x 289.6 x 19.9-23.9 mm in size.
Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport model offers a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate of 240Hz. It has an NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 4070 Laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM and the same Intel CoreTM Ultra 9 CPU (185H) under the hood. This variant comes with two NVMe M.2 SSD slots for storage and supports up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM.
There is also the Per-Key RGB Gaming Keyboard and a comparable audio configuration consisting of two 2W speakers and four 2W Dynaudio woofers. ThunderboltTM 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and HDMITM 2.1 connections are available on the Stealth 16. It has a 4-cell, 99.9-watt-hour Li-polymer battery that comes with a 240-watt adaptor. The laptop weights 1.99 kg and has dimensions of 355.8 x 259.7 x 19.95 mm.
The laptops will be available at authorised MSI shops nationwide commencing on 8 August 2024.
