Samsung is in the process of preparing Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which is supposedly thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold6. As per leakster Evan Blass the new foldable smartphone will have a better camera, specifically with a 200 MP main sensor.
ISOCELL HP9 is the expected sensor, however it is not as good as the ISOCELL HP2 in the Galaxy S24 ultra, it still comes with Tetra-pixel technology, 0.56 μm pixels and 1/1.4" size. The smartphone is expected to have an 8-inch foldable panel, a 6.5 inch cover screen and a 10.6 mm thickness in its folded condition. While the tech aficionados are anticipating various details about the chipset, battery technology and capacity, the confirmation would only be possible once the gadget is released, which is scheduled to happen in either September or October.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition might compete against Magic V3 and Mix Fold 4, in Korea and China as per rumours. Noteworthy is that, Samsung is not planning to introduce this foldable smartphone in the global market yet.
