Lava International has introduced the Lava Yuva Star smartphone, a new model in the Yuva series. With a price tag of Rs 6,499, the Yuva Star is targeted towards consumers on a budget and those who are new to using smartphones. Beginning in August 2024, it will be sold in all Indian retail stores.
With its 17.15 cm (6.75-inch) HD+ display, the Lava Yuva Star offers sharp images. The glossy back of the smartphone, which comes in three colours, namely, White, Black and Lavender improves its overall visual appeal. With a 13 MP dual AI rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, the smartphone has multiple shooting modes, including AI, HDR and Panorama.
Under the hood, the Yuva Star is equipped with an Octa-core UNISOC 9863A processor and 4GB of RAM, expandable up to a further 4GB via virtual memory. The purpose of this configuration is to offer effective performance and seamless multitasking. 64GB of internal storage on the smartphone is available for using apps, pictures and movies. A 5000mAh battery is also installed, which offers a prolonged use of the device.
The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial unlock capabilities for convenient and safe access. Running Android 14 Go, the smartphone has a navigable UI that receives regular upgrades. The smartphone is notable for being devoid of bloatware or pre-installed software that may degrade user experience. This smartphone by Lava will come with Lava’s throughout India free service at home policy.
