Itel has unveiled its first flip phone, the Flip 1, which costs Rs 2,499. The smartphone combines a sleek, flip appearance with useful features such as Type-C charging and Bluetooth compatibility, offering phone users functionality at a reasonable price.
The Flip 1 features a flip-open mechanism similar to those found on more expensive smartphones, marking itel's entry into the flip phone market. The phone has a 2.4-inch screen and a VGA camera, which allow users to take basic photographs. It is powered by a 1200mAh non-removable battery with a battery life of up to 7 days, allowing for lengthy periods of use without the need for regular recharges.
This gadget features Type-C charging, a first for feature phones, which allows for faster power supply and more compatibility between devices. It also includes Bluetooth compatibility and a BT Caller feature, which allows users to sync contacts and manage calls directly from the flip phone. The Flip 1 also includes King Voice, an on-the-go voice help technology and supports 13 Indian languages, increasing accessibility for a wide range of users.
The Flip 1 is designed for one-handed usage and features a leather-back design with a glass keypad, adding a luxury feel to its capabilities. It is lightweight and portable. The phone is available in three colours to accommodate different stylistic choices. Also, the phone has a 12+1 month warranty.
