Airtel Business, Bharti Airtel's B2B subsidiary, has unveiled 'Airtel Secure Internet', a new cybersecurity service designed to safeguard businesses from cyber threats. The service integrates Airtel's Internet Lease Line (ILL) circuits with Fortinet cybersecurity solutions to provide managed security across networks.
The 'Airtel Secure Internet' service combines Fortinet's next-generation firewall technology with Airtel's Internet Lease Line (ILL) to improve security. It provides comprehensive protection using Airtel's Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Fortinet's Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform. The system provides 24/7 security monitoring and real-time threat response, with the goal of tackling cybersecurity concerns encountered by businesses, particularly small and medium-sized firms (SMEs).
The solution helps firms reduce the expenses and challenges of managing cybersecurity in-house, such as dealing with numerous locations and technological upgrades. Airtel's SOC manages and mitigates security threats through automation, while also providing continuous monitoring and detection.
Airtel Secure Internet is a fully managed solution that combines next-generation firewall (NGFW) technology with enterprise-grade threat prevention, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus and content filtering. The service model enables organisations to change their cybersecurity infrastructure as needed, reducing capital expenditure while ensuring enterprises are protected from growing cyber threats.
