Infinix has launched their new budget smartphone Infinix Smart 2 in India. The new handset is a competitor of Xiaomi’s entry level smartphone Redmi 5A. Major highlights of Infinix Smart 2 includes 18:9 ratio FullView display, 8-MP selfie camera with LED flash, dual VoLTE (4G+4G) and face unlock feature.
The new handset comes in two RAM+Storage configurations of 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB. Infinix Smart 2 price in India starts from Rs 5,999 for 2GB variant and Rs 6,999 for 3GB RAM variant. The handset will be exclusively available through Flipkart, starting from from 10 August, 12 am onwards. It is available in four colour options- Sandstone Black, Serene Gold, City Blue, and Bordeux Red.
Smart 2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Infinix’s XOS 3.3 custom skin on top. It is powered by MediaTek 6739 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. It has 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a dedicated MicroSD card.
Infinix Smart 2 features a 5.45-inches HD+ (1440x720) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, dual LED flash, HDR and Panorama. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, bokeh mode, dual LED flash and beauty mode.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,050mAh battery which the company claims can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time. Smart S2 also have face unlock feature which Infinix claims can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.
