Huawei Nova 3, Nova 3i With GPU Turbo Launched In India

Huawei launched two new smartphones Nova 3 and Nova 3i today (26 July) in India. Both the smartphones feature 6.3-inch full-HD+ with a 19.5:9 aspect ratios. The key highlight of the handsets is the acquaintance with GPU Turbo, OTA update and AI-based 4D gaming technology for the best gaming experience.

Huawei collaborated with Amazon by introducing AI shopping mode in its both new smartphones.

Price and Availability

Both the handsets will come in Iris Purple and Black colours variants. Huawei Nova 3 launch price is set at Rs. 34,999 for 6GB+128GB storage whereas Huawei Nova 3i is available at Rs.20, 990 for 6GB RAM+ 128GB. The sale of both the handset will commence from August 23 and August 7 respectively only on Amazon. Pre-orders of Nova 3 and Nova 3i will start from today only by 2 p.m.

Launch offers on the new handsets include Huawei like no-cost-EMIs, cashback of Rs. 1,200 and 100GB complimentary data for the Jio users, extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange, and Rs. 1,000 cashback on pre-booking.

Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i Specifications

Huawei Nova 3 runs on EMUI 8.2 based on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC which is coupled with 6GB RAM. The smartphone has two variants of 64GB and 128GB for internal storage which are further expandable up to 256GB via dedicated microSD slot.

The handset sports vertical dual rear camera of 24megapixels+16megapixels camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and face detection, HDR, and panorama. The main highlight of the handset is the dual-front camera of 24-megapixels+2-megapixels; both with f/2.0 aperture and 3D face recognition. Apart from 3D Animoji, the camera has a slow-motion feature with 480 frames per second. Both the camera in the front supports AI portrait mode and Bokeh mode.

Huawei Nova 3 features 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) panel along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. For the security purpose, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side alongside the camera and the screen has face unlock system for unlocking the handset.

The Dual-hybrid SIM handset is packed with 3750mAh battery life. The connectivity options available for this smartphone are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Radio, USB2.0, 4G VoLTE and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Huawei Nova 3i runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is powered with 2.36 GHz Octa-core Kirin 970 processor which is coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM. The smartphone comes in two variants- 4GB RAM+ 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM+ 128GB internal storage with expandable option up to 256 GB.

In terms of optics just like Huawei Nova 3, Huawei Nova 3i is also equipped with dual rear and front camera. It has vertically aligned dual rear camera with 16 megapixels + 2 megapixels both with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and face detection, HDR and panorama. On the other hand, on the front, there will be dual camera setup of 24megapixels + 2megapixels with f/2.0.

Huawei Nova 3i features 6.3 -inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. For the security purpose, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side alongside the camera and the screen has face unlock system for unlocking the handset. The handset is packed with 3,340mAh battery life. The connectivity options available for this smartphone are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/a, Bluetooth4.2, GPS, Radio, USB2.0, 4G VoLTE and 3.5mm headphone jack.
