Just after launching Honor 9N a few days ago, Huawei sub-brand will launch their new smartphone Honor Play in India on August 6. The Honor Play was launched in China recently and it will the first Honor mobile to feature GPU Turbo out of the box.
GPU Turbo improves graphics processing efficiency by 60 percent and reducing SoC energy consumption by 30 percent, setting new records in smartphone performance and energy consumption balance.
Honor Play Price
In China, the handset was lauched at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,000) for 4GB variant and CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs 24,030) for 6GB RAM variant. Talking about Honor Play price in India, it could be placed between Rs 25,000 to Rs 28,000. In India, the new Honor mobile will be an Amazon exclusive and there is also a dedicated page for the upcoming handset on the e-commerce platform.

Honor Play Specifications
Honor Play runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Honor Play is powered by Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Neural Processing Unit (NPU) which comes in Honor 10 and Huawei P20 Pro.
The handset comes in two RAM+Storage options of 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB, with storage in both variants expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
The metal body Honor Play features a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340x1080) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual rear camera setup at the rear with Honor 10 like AI capabilities, 16-MP+2-MP cameras, PDAF, EIS, and AIS. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixels camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The dual-SIM Honor mobile is backed by a 3,750mAh battery which supports fast charging. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C (2.0), 3.5mm headphone-jack, and Location.
