Huawei sub brand Honor is going to launch their new smartphone Honor 9N in India on July 24. Honor 9N is the re-branded version of Honor 9i which was launched last month in China. Recently, Honor sent media invites for a new smartphone launch which didn't reveal the product's name. However it has now been confirmed that Honor 9N will be arriving India this month.
Honor 9N runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T83-MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. The handset comes in two internal storage options of 64GB and 128GB, the storage in both models can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
The dual-SIM handset features a 5.84-inches FHD+ (2280x1080 pixels) IPS display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Talking about the design, Honor 9N is a reminiscent of Honor’s flagship device Honor 10.
Honor 9N sports a dual rear camera setup which includes 13-megapixels+2-megapixels sensors with dual tone LED flash and PDAF. For clicking selfies, there is a 16-megapixels front camera.
The handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which the company claims can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone-jack and GPS.
Honor 9N price in China starts from CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 14,400) for 64GB storage variant and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 17,500). The handset comes in blue, purple and black shades. It measures 149.2 x 71.8 x 7.7mm and weighs 152 grams.
