Honor 8X With 6.5-inch Display Launched In India; Price Starts From Rs 14,999

Honor 8X is Huawei sub-brand Honor’s new smartphone with a notch display in India after Honor 9N and Honor Play. Honor 8X comes in three RAM+Storage variants of 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. 

Honor 8X price in India starts from Rs 14,999 for 4GB RAM variant, Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM variant and Rs 18,999 for 128GB storage variant.

The new handset will be available via Amazon and Honor’s online store across India, starting from October 24. Honor 8X comes in three colours- black, red and blue.

Honor 8X runs Huawei’s custom EMUI 8.2 skin, based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset is powered by Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with GPU Turbo, Mali G51 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM. It has 64GB/128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 400GB using a MicroSD card.

Honor 8X comes with a massive 6.5-inch FHD+ (2340x1080) LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual rear camera setup which includes 20-MP primary camera and a 2-MP depth camera with AI scene recognition, HDR, AIS and LED flash. For selfies, there is a 16-MP camera on the front.

The dual SIM Honor 8X is backed by a 3,750mAh battery, has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock. Connectivity options include W-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro USB 2.0, Location, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
