Huawei sub-brand Honor today (22 May) launched two new affordable smartphones Honor 7C and Honor 7A in India. The handsets are Honor’s take on Redmi 5 series which currently leads the 10k smartphone segment in India.
Honor 7C is priced at Rs 9,999 for 32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for 64GB variant. On the other hand, Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999. Both smartphones feature 18:9 ratio displays, Android 8.0 Oreo, and Snapdragon processors.
Honor 7A is a Flipkart exclusive while Honor 7C is an Amazon exclusive, the former will go on sale from 29 May, 12 pm onwards and latter from 31 May, 12 pm onwards. The handsets will also be available on Honor’s online store. Both smartphones are available in black, blue and gold colours.
Honor 7C Specifications
Honor 7C runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It has 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
The metal-body Honor 7C features a 5.99-inches HD+ (1440x720) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual camera setup at the rear which includes 13-megapixel+2-megapixel with PDAF and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with fixed focus lens.
For security, the handset has face unlock and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Honor 7C measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 164 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone-jack, and Location.

Honor 7A runs on EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It has 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through a MicroSD card.
Honor 7A features a 5.7-inches HD+ (1440x720) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 75.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It sports a dual camera setup at the rear which includes 13-megapixel+2-megapixel with PDAF and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and soft flash.
For security, the handset has face unlock and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
