Frog Cellsat Limited (FCL), a telecom equipment manufacturer, showcased an array of innovative solutions at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, held from 15 October to 18 October at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The company introduced three new products in light of the same: the Smart Mini Booster, the 5G Active DAS Solution and a new VHF Repeater.
The company's presentation included their Noise Shield solution, designed to mitigate interference from uplink signals, leading to significant improvements in cell coverage, voice quality and data capacity. Trials revealed a noise reduction of up to 40 dB and 400 per cent increase in data traffic at various sites.
Active DAS, a fully indigenous Active Distributed Antenna System, by the company, supports eight different frequency bands and accommodates up to four mobile operators simultaneously. This versatile solution is tailored for expansive venues such as airports, metro stations and stadiums, with an aim of offering connectivity in high-demand environments.
Frog Cellsat also introduced its Smart Mini Booster, specifically engineered for IoT devices and smart metres, offering optimal coverage without introducing noise to the network. The new VHF Repeater enhances coverage for VHF networks, crucial for railways and public safety communications. The 5G Active DAS Solution is a substantial development in mobile infrastructure, addressing the connectivity needs of large-scale venues.
