India’s e-commerce website Flipkart unveiled its first smartphone Billion Capture+ in India last week, today (15 November) the smartphone has gone on sale through Flipkart. Billion is the Flipkart’s own brand of Made In India products.
Billion Capture+ comes in two RAM+Storage variants of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB which are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively.
The company will also offer no cost EMIs start from Rs 917 per month, buyers can also get up to Rs 10,000 off on exchange. Buyers who purchase the phone with HDFC debit or credit card will get 10 per cent instant discount. Idea users will get additional 60GB free data on the purchase of Capture+ smartphone.
Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box which will be later upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor. It has 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.
The metal body Billion Capture+ features a 5.5-inch FHD (1920x1080) with 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top. The major highlight of the smartphone is the dual rear camera. It sports 13-megapixel dual-rear camera where one is a monochrome sensor and other an RGB sensor. The rear camera can click pictures in Potrait mode, and with the dual-tone flash clicks good images in low-light condition. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie-camera.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3500mAh battery which the company claims can last up to two days. The phone also supports Quick Charge which gives you up to seven hours of battery life in fifteen minutes of charging.
There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with which you can unlock the device. The handset comes in mystic black and desert gold colours.
Also, Fipkart has collaborated with Indian OEM and IoT brand Smartron for designing of Billion Capture+ smartphone.
