Acer has introduced two new tablets under its Iconia brand, designed to cater to both entertainment and productivity needs. The 8.7-inch Iconia Tab iM9-12M and the 10.36-inch Iconia Tab iM10-22 offer a range of features, including large displays, solid battery life and a focus on performance.
The new tablets are built with MediaTek processors, aimed at providing efficient multitasking and media playback. The 8.7-inch model is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22T octa-core chip, while the 10.36-inch version features a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Both devices come with Android 14, offering access to the latest software features and applications.
The Iconia Tab iM9-12M, with its 8.7-inch display, offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB. This model is powered by the Helio P22T processor, which runs at speeds up to 2.3 GHz. The device supports Dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2, allowing for versatile connectivity.
The larger, 10.36-inch Iconia Tab iM10-22 offers a 2K resolution screen and is powered by the Helio G99 processor. It features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, also expandable up to 1TB. The iM10-22 is equipped with PureVoice QUAD speakers and a 16MP rear camera, along with an 8MP front camera, aimed at improving video conferencing and photography capabilities.
Both tablets are designed with battery life in mind, providing up to 10 hours of video playback. The iM9-12M has a 5100 mAh battery, while the iM10-22 comes with a 7400 mAh battery, making both models suitable for extended use throughout the day.
Both the iM9-12M and iM10-22 support standard connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and LTE. The devices also come with security features like face recognition and fingerprint login. These features aim to make the tablets more convenient and secure for personal use or work purposes.
The iM9-12M features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, while the iM10-22 has a more advanced camera setup with a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, which could be useful for those who rely on the tablet for video calls or content creation.
The Acer Iconia Tab iM9-12M is priced at Rs 11,990, while the 10.36-inch iM10-22 is available for Rs 14,990. Both tablets are available for purchase through Acer’s official stores, Amazon and other retail outlets.
