Dell Technologies has declared the introduction of the Latitude 7455 Copilot+ AI PC in India, which is aimed to improve organisational and employee experiences with enhanced AI capabilities. The Latitude 7455 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Series processors and comes in both Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus variants. The gadget supports up to 22 hours of local video playback, enhancing productivity and efficiency regardless of location.
The Latitude 7455 has Dell Optimiser, an AI program that optimises resource allocation to improve device performance. This program enables users to customise thermal settings, resulting in a cool and quiet computer experience. The most recent BIOS security features assist minimise possible dangers, hence strengthening the device's security.
Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager of Dell Technologies' Client Solutions Group in India, emphasised the impact of the Copilot+ AI PCs, pointing out that the Latitude 7455 is the company's first Copilot+ Latitude and debut model with Windows 11 Arm. Belgundi emphasised that this is a big step forward in AI-powered computing experiences for business users, demonstrating Dell's commitment to expanding its commercial portfolio.
The Latitude 7455 is known for being the thinnest laptop in the Latitude range, providing its performance in a compact package. It has Snapdragon X series processors and longer battery life. To efficiently manage complicated tasks, the device has a sophisticated three-tier processing architecture that includes a CPU, GPU and NPU. The Qualcomm Oryon CPU optimises performance for huge datasets, while the Qualcomm Adreno GPU enables seamless streaming and video production on the 16:10 QHD+ touch display. The Qualcomm Hexagon NPU maximises efficiency and reduces noise, resulting in high-quality output. The Latitude 7455 runs Windows on Arm operating systems and supports a wide range of apps.
The laptop’s design also emphasises the company's dedication to environmental responsibility. The laptop is made of recyclable and low-emission aluminium, with 50 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic in the bezel and 30 per cent in other parts. The battery includes 50 per cent recycled cobalt, while the adapter's thermal shielding is made of 95 per cent recycled plastic and 98 per cent recycled aluminium. The product's packaging is constructed entirely of recycled or renewable materials and is completely recyclable.
The Latitude 7455, built on Snapdragon X Series platforms, strives to provide efficient and smooth AI experiences. Cocreator, which allows for AI-generated pictures, Live Captions, which translate speech from 44 languages to English and new Windows Studio effects for improving video conversations are all aimed to help users expedite their activities and increase productivity.
The Latitude 7455 will be accessible to corporate customers from 1 August 2024, at a starting price of Rs 1,59,990.
