Blackberry launched its first dual rear camera set up as BlackBerry KEY 2 today (23 July). The key highlights of the smartphone is QWERTY keyboard that comes with Speed' key that can enable the users to access apps, contacts or functions instantly with just one press on single key.
The price of Blackberry has been set at Rs 42,990. The sale of the smartphone will commence from July 31 exclusively on Amazon India. The customers paying via ICICI credit or debit card will get 5% cashback or cashback offer of Rs 4,450 with Reliance Jio.
BlackBerry KEY 2 Specifications
BlackBerry KEY2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It is powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core processor coupled with 6GB RAM. The handset comes in two variants - 6 GB RAM+64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM+128GB that can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.
The smartphone sports a horizontally aligned dual rear camera setup which includes 12-megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) +12-megapixels (f/2.6) image sensors with dual tone LED flash and PDAF along with optical zoom and portrait made. For clicking selfie, there is an 8-megapixels front camera with Fixed Focus, Selfie Flash using LCD.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,500mAh battery which compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 supports to provide up to 25 hours of battery life according to the usage. For security, there is a fingerprint sensor disguised as the spacebar in the QWERT keypad. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Micro-USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone-jack.
BlackBerry KEY2 features 4.5-inch full-HD (1080x1620 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratios. It is protected by a layer of 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The handset measures 151.4 x 71.8 x 8.5mm and weighs 168 grams.
