BenQ has introduced the TK710STi, a 4K smart short throw laser projector, targeting gamers and home entertainment enthusiasts who require high-quality projection in limited living spaces. The TK710STi offers 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support and a brightness of 3,200 ANSI lumens, making it suitable for well-lit environments. Utilising BenQ’s laser light source technology, it offers a 600,000:1 contrast ratio and 95 per cent Rec.709 wide colour gamut for accurate colour reproduction and deep contrast.
Designed specifically for gaming, the TK710STi features low input lag, as low as 4.16ms at 1080p 240Hz, offering smooth and responsive gameplay. The projector supports high frame rates across multiple resolutions, including 4K at 60Hz, 1440p at 120Hz and 1080p at 240Hz. The projector also provides dedicated HDR game modes for enhanced visuals tailored to RPG and FPS games.
The projector is equipped with a short throw ratio of 0.69-0.83, allowing it to project a 100-inch image from just 5.5 feet away, making it suitable for smaller rooms. Installation is simplified through features such as 3D keystone correction, four-corner adjustment and 1.2x zoom, offering flexibility in various setups.
The TK710STi includes a built-in Android TV system, complete with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video support, offering users direct access to streaming content. The projector also supports eARC for high-quality audio transmission, enhancing the overall home entertainment experience.
