Asus has launched their latest smartphone Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) in India. It is available in two RAM+Storage configurations- 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB which are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively.
It will go on sale from May 3, exclusively through Flipkart. Also, the metal body smartphone comes in two body shades- gray and black.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and Adreno 509 GPU. The new device has 32GB/64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB through a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
Max Pro features a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face unlock feature.
It sports a dual rear camera setup with two 13-megapixel+5-megapixel sensors with which users can click pictures in bokeh mode. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper with Softlight LED.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which Asus claims can give 199 hours of music playback, 25.3 hours of 1080p Video playback, and up to 42 hours of 3G talktime.
The battery also supports fast charging, it gets charged to 100 percent in 2 hours and 42 minutes. The company also touted that Max Pro’s battery gets full charged 30 minutes earlier than Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB, Location, 3.5mm audio-jack, and 4G VoLTE. It measures 159 x 69 x 8.6mm and weighs 180 grams.
Users can get benefits from Vodafone of up to Rs 3,200. Vodafone Prepaid customers with Rs 199 or above and Post-paid customers with Vodafone RED 399 plan will get 10GB of free data for 1 year. Post-paid customers with Vodafone RED 499 and above will get free device security insurance plan for 2 years along with 10GB free data per month for 1 year.
Asus in partnership with Flipkart is offering complete mobile protection at an introductory price of Rs 49. There is also No Cost EMI for up to 12 months on all credit cards and extra Rs 1,000 off over regular exchange value on select models.
The company also announced that a 6GB RAM variant with 16-megapixel rear and selfie-camera will launched soon at Rs 14,999.
