Air India is reportedly in talks to launch a new performance management system for its non-flying staff next week. This marks the Tata Group’s carrier ambitious revival plan.
Addressing the staff, Air India CEO and MD Campbell Wilson said, “Rise.AI will frame defined job descriptions and specific performance goals for the staff to understand what is expected from them and what they should deliver.”
He underlined that a fair, transparent and completely digitised appraisal system will be developed accordingly.
Air India has taken over by the Tata Group in January 2022. Earlier this year, the airlines placed orders for 470 planes with Airbus and Boeing.
