Acer Unveils New Line Of Core Ultra Laptops At IFA 2024

Acer has officially introduced its new Copilot+ laptop portfolio at Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2024. The collection includes AI-powered laptops from all major chipmakers, including AMD, Qualcomm and Intel's latest Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V processors.

This collection contains the Swift 14 AI, Swift 16 AI, Swift Go 14 AI and TravelMate P6 14 AI, all of which provide better AI performance and sophisticated processing capabilities.

The Swift 14 AI (SF14-51/T) and Swift 16 AI (SF16-51/T) models are powered by Intel's latest Lunar Lake Core Ultra processors, which can conduct neural processing unit (NPU) AI operations at up to 48 trillion operations per second (TOPS). These laptops have high-end screens, with the Swift 14 AI boasting a 14-inch 3K or 2K OLED panel and the Swift 16 AI sporting a 16-inch 3K OLED panel. Both devices have Intel Arc graphics, combining powerful AI capabilities with fast multitasking.

For users looking for lightweight performance, the TravelMate P6 14 AI is an excellent alternative. This variant, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, delivers up to 120 TOPS of AI performance and has a rugged, military-grade design that weighs less than 1 kg. The laptop features a 14-inch WQXGA+ (2880x1800) display, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 65 Wh battery for all-day productivity.

Acer has also increased its offering to include AMD and Qualcomm-powered devices. The Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-01) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8-core CPU, which can deliver up to 45 TOPS of AI performance. This model has a 14.5-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) display, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and great battery life and portability.

The Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, providing up to 50 TOPS AI performance. This version of the Swift 14 has an impressive battery life of up to 27 hours and supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory.

All laptops in this series provide strong connectivity choices, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C connectors with Thunderbolt 4 capability. Security features include biometric authentication choices like fingerprint and facial recognition, as well as Acer's User Sensing technology, which improves user safety and convenience.

These laptops were also designed with sustainability in mind, since they employ post-consumer recycled plastics and come in 100 per cent recyclable packaging.
