Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Launched In China: Price, Specifications and More

Xiaomi has launched their latest smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro in China. The Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is infamous for mimicking iPhones and this time, the Redmi 6 Pro has inherited the iPhone X like display notch. The major highlights of the new Redmi mobile includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 5.84-inches display with 19:9 ratio, dual rear cameras, AI face unlock, and 4,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Price

The new Redmi mobile is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs 10,450) for 3GB RAM+32GB storage, CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs 12,544) for 4GB RAM+32GB Storage and CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 13,590) for 4GB RAM+64GB Storage.  

Redmi 6 Pro comes pre-orders have begun in China and sale starts from June 29. However there is no word about device’s availability outside China. The handset comes in five colour options- Sand Gold, Stone Black, Cherry Blossom Powder, Bali Blue, and Flame Red.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Specifications

The new Redmi mobile runs on MIUI 9 which is based on Android and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. It has 32GB/64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB through dedicated MicroSD slot.

Redmi 6 Pro features a 5.84-inches FHD+ (2280x1080) display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual camera setup at rear which includes 12-megapixels+5-megapixels sensors with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, AI Portrait Mode, and auto HDR. On the front is a 5-megapixels selfie snapper with AI Portrait mode and AI Smart Beauty.

The dual-SIM Redmi 6 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. For security, there is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock feature. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone-jack, and Location. It measures 149.33 x 71.68 x 8.75mm and weighs 178 grams.
