Motorola recently launched its latest budget smartphone Moto E5 Plus along with Moto E5 in India. The series was already launched a couple of months ago in Brazil with Moto G6 series.
The main highlights of this new smartphone includes 18:9 ratio display, 5,000mAh battery, Android 8.0 Oreo, Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, water repellent body.
The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Quad-core which is coupled with 3GB RAM.
With a price tag of Rs 11,999 in India, Moto E5 Plus has entered the pool of very crowded smartphone segment with competitors like Redmi Note 5, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Oppo's Realme 1.

Software, Processor and Storage
Motorola E5 Plus runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Quad-core which is coupled with 3GB RAM. The smartphone has an internal storage of 32GB which is expandable up to 256GB.
Redmi Note 5 operates on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 paired with 4GB RAM. It comes with 64GB internal storage which is further expanded via dedicated micro SD slot.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs on Android v8.0 (Oreo) and powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset comes with 64GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB through micro SD slot.
Realme 1 runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and further powered by MediaTek Helio P60 octa core processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. Realme 1 comes with 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD slot.

Moto E5 Plus features 6-inches HD+ (1440x720 pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratios. The smartphones comes with max vision display for comfortable single hand scrolling and it also features split screen for multitasking usage. The handset sports single rear camera with 12-megapixels which has f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and PDAF. The camera instantly focuses in via laser autofocus technology. The selfie snapper is of 5 megapixels with a selfie flash for better pictures in both day and night light.
Redmi Note 5 comes with 5.99 inch FHD+ (2160X1080 pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratios. The smartphone sports single rear camera of 12 megapixels with ƒ/2.2 aperture. The camera features dual LED flash light along with PDAF, Low light enhancement, HDR, Panorama, Burst mode, Face recognition. In the front the handset has 5-megapixels with selfie flash, Beautify 4.0, Selfie countdown and Face recognition.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) with 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset sports vertically mounted dual rear camera of 13megapixels+5 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture with LED flash and 4k video recording. The primary camera focuses on PDAF camera quality whereas the secondary one focuses exclusively on dedicated depth camera. The front facing camera comes in 8 megapixels with soft light LED flash and Bokeh mode.
Realme 1 comes with 6.0-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display (2160 x 1080 pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratios. Realme 1 sports single rear camera of 13 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. It also features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama. The front comes with 8 megapixels f/2.2 aperture selfie snapper.

The dual SIM, Moto E5 Plus is backed up with massive 5,000mAh battery life which will enable the users to stream videos for 18 hours long at a single charge. The connectivity options available for this smartphones are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth4.2, GPS, Radio and microUSB 2.0.
Redmi Note 5 is a dual SIM handset with 4,000mAh battery life. The connectivity options available are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is packed up with 5,000 mAh with fast charging that last for 2 days for an average user. The connectivity options available for this dual SIM are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB, Location, 3.5mm audio-jack, and 4G VoLTE.
Realme1 is a dual SIM smartphone packed with 3,410mAh with connectivity options for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Radio, GPS and micro USB 2.0.
