Huawei has launched their new flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 20 Pro in India. The new handset’s main highlight is its triple rear camera setup, Huawei’s latest high-end Kirin 980 processor, in-screen fingerprint scanner and a massive 4,200mAh battery.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro price in India starts from Rs 69,990 for 6GB+128GB and Rs 71,990 for 8GB+256GB variant. Although, the handset was globally unveiled four colour options but Indians will only get Emerald Green colour units.
The new Huawei phone will be available on Amazon from December 3 midnight (for Prime members) and next day after that, non-Prime members can also purchase the device. The handset will be available in Croma stores as well, beginning from December 10. Additionally, the Mate 20 Pro will be available as part of a bundle along with the Sennheiser PXC 550 for a special cost of Rs 71,990, for the early bird customers.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specifications
Huawei Mate 20 Pro runs on EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is powered by the latest 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G76 MP 10 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM and dual NPU (Neural Processing unit). Mate 20 Pro has 128GB and 256GB storage options where memory in both variants can be expanded using Huawei’s nano memory card which uses SIM 2 slot.
The new Mate 20 Pro features a 6.39-inch QHD+ (3120x1440) OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass. Camera is something which Huawei has been excelling with its premium phones and Mate 20 Pro also sport exceptional cameras.
It has a Leica triple rear camera setup which includes 40-MP wide-angle lens (f/1.8 aperture with PDAF and Laser AF) + 20- MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture with PDAF and Laser AF) + 8-MP telephoto lens (f/2.4 aperture with OIS, PDAF and Laser AF) with dual LED flash, HDR, AIS and AI painting photography.
For selfies, there is a 24-MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also is a 3D Depth sensing camera which projects 30,000 points and supports 3D face unlock.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is backed by a 4,200mAh battery which supports 40W Huawei Supercharge. The company also claims that the handset can be charged up to 70 percent within 30 minutes. Mate 20 Pro also has 15W quick wireless charging, it is also capable of reverse charging other Qi compatible phones.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and Location. Mate 20 Pro measures 157.8 x x72.3 x 8.6mm and weighs 189 grams.
