Xiaomi Redmi S2 was recently launched in China, now the handset maker might be launching the smartphone in India soon. Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event for a smartphone on 7 June which they are teasing as a selfie-centric smartphone.
The company has announced the launch event on twitter using hashtag #FindYourSelfie and RealYou. They have also highlighted the alphabet ‘Y’ which indicates Redmi S2 could be launched in India as Redmi Y2, which is the successor of previous year’s selfie-centric smartphone Redmi Y1.
The smartphone could have also been Mi A2 (Mi 6X for China) but the image clearly shows a front LED flash which comes with the Redmi S2 (Redmi Y2 for India) and not Mi A2.
