If not in the current Profession , You would be ?
Lost :), I am happy being me; I wouldn't trade what I have, even for Aladdin's lamp!
One tune you always hum?
It might seem crazy what I am about to say, Sunshine she's here, you can take a break
I am a hot air balloon that could go to space, With the air, like I don't care baby by the way. Huh, because I'm happy, Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I'm happy, Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth.
Pharell William's happy song, is one among few songs. It describes my state of mind!
One Book to read when you want to motivate yourselves?
A mirror, haha! I am an avid reader but I never needed a nudge to motivate myself!
One Dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most?
Since you have just asked for one: I am quoting this from Batman begins:
"Bruce Wayne: I wanted to save Gotham. I failed. Alfred Pennyworth: Why do we fall sir? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up."
The Place you never been to and always want to go?
"Kitchen" as cliched as it sounds, I am hardly home and seldom get time to prepare a scrumptious meal for my family.
An animal that signifies you & why?
How about, I give you an animal at least for few of my attributes. Don't worry, you don't have to take a tour of the national zoo ;)
Phoenix: Rising from ashes and transformation - Reminisces how I rise every time, I encounter failure in my life
Butterfly: Metamorphism - Transformation in my life and happiness
Dog: loyalty and epitome of friendship - One of my core value
Eagle: Vision - Denoting my vision of future
Peacock: Grace - Symbolising my dance moves
A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with?
The achievement of "Inside Out" is at once subtler and more impressive. This is a movie almost entirely populated by abstract concepts, all characterisation moving through theoretical space. Character "Joy" is a sparkling whirlwind of positive energy and learnings (Mindful embracing of Emodiversity, cognitive reappraisal and most important start appreciating the moment because we know it'll soon be history) we learn through her are sublime!
8) Choose one from each below:
a) Marvel or DC: Both
b) Batman or Superman: Wonder woman, Why should boys have all the fun?
c) Tom or Jerry: Damn, this is a tough question too.. it's both again.
d) Chacha Chaudhary or Super Commando Dhruv: It's Chacha Chaudhary, jinka dimaag computer se tez chalta hai!
If your life was to be turned into a movie who would you like to play your part?
Can I, debut in my own movie?
10) Luck or Hard Work , What do you think weighs more in defining a successful Person?
Definition of Success in my humble opinion is different for every individual and to answer your question: I think if luck gets you there, smart/ hard work will take you further and the harder you work, the luckier you get!
One best decision you ever made?
Giving myself a second chance in life. Quoting Elde Barge "Like everyone else in this world, I have had struggles. There's disappointment and obstacles in everybody's life. I feel like I was writing 'Second Chance' not just for myself, but also for the people who have struggled. I want the world to know that everybody deserves a second chance." It is up to you to find the strength to give a second chance; similarly it is up to the recipient of that chance to not need a third.
A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in Personal or Professional life?
It is situation based on both fronts. I let my work speak for itself, keeping the lines of communication open always, brainstorming to come up with win-win solution, root cause analysis, looking at a bigger picture and so on. Decision making is not learning a bunch of techniques, but in knowing how and when to apply the basic principles and in constantly reevaluating and improving methods to adapt to the scenarios.
Whose advise you seek when in dilemma?
I take suggestions from every well wisher, family and friends in my life but I make my own decision, choose my own path and stay the course.
What has been your biggest achievement?
Professionally, so far: Receiving "First Ladies "Award from Mr. President and sharing the stage with such accomplished personalities from different fields. It was surreal! I didn't just have butterflies in my stomach but an entire insect kingdom dancing!"
One thing that you want to change in yourself?
I am too hard on myself (greatest self- critique). I am gradually trying to understand, and work with my other "Self-critiquing twin" and striking that balance required for growth.
A line said by your closed one that you never forget?
A quote by my elder sister, Pushpitha
"If you don't know what your calling is then simply follow your passion. That passion will call the calling."
